Description
Located at Camp St. Malo, 12 miles south of Estes Park on Colorado Highway 7, Allenspark, Colorado. The first mass was offered here in 1935. In 1993, Pope John Paul II visited the chapel during his trip to Denver for the World Youth Day and bestowed his personal blessing on the chapel. 'Consider the lillies ... Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.' Luke 12:27. Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us. God is the composer, and this humble musician, using a camera as his instrument, strives to do justice to His composition. If I have been successful, and to that end, I hope you enjoy your journey down my Colorado Trails. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me at: jim3584@live.com.
