This mountain goat is looking over it's shoulder, to the east, away from the setting sun, perhaps reflecting on the events of the day. Photographed in the Mt. Evans Wilderness area. "Consider the lillies ... Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Luke 12:27. Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us. God is the composer, and this humble musician, using a camera as his instrument, strives to do justice to His composition. If I have been successful, and to that end, I hope you enjoy your journey down my Colorado Trails. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me at: jim3584@live.com. I've never seen a mountain goat, but this one is stunning. The fur looks so soft and fluffy.... I wouldn't have guessed that. What a foreground of small red/orange plants which echo the gold on the legs. And the glint of light on the horns. Wow! v/f
