Description
Can you not visualize square-dancers in this scene, captured in the Mt. Evans Wilderness Area, Colorado? The bristlecone pines are the oldest single living organisms known, some dating nearly 5000 years in age, and generally grow at an elevation between 5600 and 11,200 ft. above sea level. ''Consider the lilies ... Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.'' Luke 12:27. Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us. God is the composer, and this humble musician, my camera is my instrument, strives to do justice to His composition. If I have been successful, and to that end, I hope you enjoy your journey down my Colorado Trails. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me at: jim3584@live.com. Actually no. We square danced for many years, at one time took lessons five nights a week. Belonged to a slew of clubs in CA, most everyone in Orange County and there were a LOT... Some weeks danced seven nights a week, until my legs (progressive nerve damage caused by frostbite) began getting so bad had to cut back. Eventually stopped, but still brought Nadine... However, have no ability to "VISUALIZE" theoretically it is caused by something which happened in the womb... Only about 2% have this problem. It makes it more difficult to learn, or remember and so Photos and Paintings have become MY visual images... :) Love the scene, in spite of a lack of visual images, thankfully am not blind... Its a blessing to be able to see...
