Description
This bristlecone pine, in the Mt. Evans Wilderness area, stands, as if in victory, over a fallen combatant. ''Consider the lilies ... Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.'' Luke 12:27. Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us. God is the composer, and this humble musician, my camera is my instrument, strives to do justice to His composition. If I have been successful, and to that end, I hope you enjoy your journey down my Colorado Trails. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me at: jim3584@live.com. In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
