A young filly struggles to stand, as the hooves of a passing herd member disturb her and a nearby bird's, rest. Sandwash Basin,Colorado, is home to one of the few remaining herds of free-roaming wild mustangs in the United States.
Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us.
