This is Picasso, the iconic elder stallion in Sand Wash Basin, CO, USA. He bears the scars of years of battle and conquest amongst his rivals. Sand Wash Basin is home to one of the few remaining herds of free-roaming wild mustangs in the United States.
Welcome fellow travelers. Though originally from Illinois, Colorado has been home since 1959. Since, as a boy, I snapped my first photo, I have been captivated by the symphony of beauty, and intricate design which surrounds us. God is the composer, and this humble musician, my camera is my instrument, strives to do justice to His composition.
